We will begin our equestrian activity from Cruzpata, traversing beautiful trails framed by the imposing glaciers and mountains of the region, as well as vast stretches of fertile farmland still cultivated by the local communities today. Our journey will lead us to Moray, where we will leave the horses to enter the archaeological site of the same name.

This will be a guided visit where our specialized guide will explain the most significant features of Moray. This site features circular terraces (andenes) built by the Incas to take advantage of the natural terrain, serving as a center for agricultural research and the acclimatization of various plants. The terraces descend gradually, creating different microclimates that allow for the cultivation of everything from Andean tubers to the coca leaf (the prized jewel of the Incas).

After our visit to Moray, we will mount our horses again and head toward the charming village of Maras. This beautiful town still preserves its picturesque colonial mansions, including the prominent temple of its patron saint, San Francisco de Asís, built in the 16th century. Once our visit to this scenic spot concludes, we will leave the horses for the final time and head to the Maras Salt Mines (Salineras), an impressive site with hundreds of salt pans where you can still see local community members extracting the mineral for sale.

Our tour concludes in the city of Cusco, where we will arrive in our private transportation.
