Nasca is an impressive coastal town because of its desert where you can practice adventure sports such as buggy rides, and sand-boarding. You can also visit the oasis of Huacachina, beautiful place for its landscapes and natural beauty.
Nasca, is located at 520 masl, in the southern part of Lima. It has a warm and sunny climate all year round. It is known as the "City of Eternal Summer". It is a city full of contrasts, also characterized by strong winds called Paracas.
Many years ago the Nazca culture was developed, leaving a legacy that we can appreciate in that city as its constructions and also the famous giant lines that still have no explanation of how they were made and how they still preserved in time.
In the Virreinato, Nasca was populated by the congregation of the Agustinos and named the Villa of Santiago de la Nasca.
Nasca now recovers economically thanks to the activity of tourism.
