Overview
A classic excursion in the department of Ica, you will visit two of the most important destinations of this city: Ballestas Islands and the National Reserve of Paracas. During the tour you will be able to observe extraordinary quantities of birds and marine animals, among them pelicans, humboldt penguins, which are currently in danger of extinction and others. You will see The Chandelier, a huge geoglyph similar to those of the Nasca lines. You will discover the importance of each of these places and why they are protected by the Peruvian state.

Ballestas Islands and Paracas Reserve
This exciting adventure will start at 7:15 a.m. in Pisco, our transportation will take you to the port of Paracas, where we’ll board a boat and we will go to the Ballestas islands, home to thousands of birds, such as cormorant pelicans, tendrils, and several species of marine animals such as sea lions and dolphins.
On the way back to the port of Paracas we can appreciate the Chandelier, a huge geoglyph similar to the Nazca lines, which is said to serve as a lighthouse for sailors.
10:30 in the morning we will leave from the same port towards the National Reserve of Paracas, located only 30 minutes by boat of the port by the Pacific Ocean, in which we will visit The Cathedral, which is an immense natural rock formation. We will also visit some beaches that host countless species of birds and mammals and we will even be able to observe some birds that migrate at some times of the year.
At the end of the visit we will return to the port and take you back to Pisco.
