Itinerary Wonders of Peru
Day 1: Arrival in Lima - Free day
Depending on your flight arrival time, we will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel in Lima, where you can rest after settling in. The rest of the day will be yours to explore the city at your own pace. Lima offers a diverse gastronomy that we are sure you will enjoy.
Day 2: Ballestas Island tour and Huacachina - Bus to Nazca - Overnight in Nazca
Early in the morning around 5:00 AM, we will pick you up from the hotel to take you on a shared tourist transport to Paracas, a journey of approximately 4 hours.
Upon arrival in Paracas (8:00 AM), we will head to the port to board a boat to visit the Ballestas Islands and then the Paracas National Reserve. During this unique tour, you will see thousands of bird species, sea lions, Humboldt penguins, rock formations, and a figure similar to the Nazca Lines known as "The Candelabra." After the tour, we will visit a craft fair where you can purchase souvenirs and decorations.
Following the visit to Paracas, we will travel to Ica on shared tourist transport, where we will visit the Nieto winery. There, we will learn about the production of pisco and wine. Next, we will move to a tasting room to sample various types of pisco, wine, and macerated drinks. We will have time for lunch before heading to Huacachina, where we will visit the Oasis and enjoy a unique adventure tour featuring buggies and sandboarding. We will then proceed to the hotel in Nazca.
Day 3: Nazca Lines Over flight - Paredones - Aqueducts - Bus to Cusco
At the coordinated time, we will pick you up from the hotel and head to the Nasca airfield, where we will board the small plane for an impressive flight over the majestic Nazca Lines. During the half-hour flight, you will observe the various figures that are over 2,000 years old, such as the hummingbird, the monkey, the spider, and others, all etched into the Nazca plains.
After this exciting experience, we will return to Nasca for lunch. Then, we will pick you up to continue our tour by visiting the archaeological complex known as Paredones, located 2 km from the city of Nasca, considered an administrative center. Next, we will head to the Cantalloc Aqueducts, impressive hydraulic constructions by the people of the Nasca Culture. After the visit, you will have time to explore the city and have dinner. In the evening, we will depart from the hotel to the bus station and begin a 14-hour journey approximately to Cusco.
Day 4: Arrival to Cusco. Free afternoon
We will arrive in Cusco around 1:00 PM. At the bus station, we will be waiting to transfer you to the reserved hotel in Cusco, where you can settle in and enjoy a coca tea to combat altitude sickness.
You will have the afternoon to have lunch and explore this charming city. Take your time to stroll through its historic streets, discover its hidden corners, and immerse yourself in the local culture.
If you prefer to venture out on your own, feel free to do so. Cusco has something special on every corner, and we are sure you will enjoy every moment of your visit.

Day 5: Maras - Moray Tour
The tour will begin with a pick-up from your hotel in Cusco between 8:00 - 8:30 AM. We will head towards Maras, a traditional town where we will admire its adobe church, and then continue to the archaeological site of Moray, located north of the town of Maras. Moray is a unique construction of several circular terraces that served as an agricultural laboratory for experimenting with different crops during the Inca period.
Continuing the excursion, we will arrive at the Maras Salt Mines, impressive salt terraces made up of thousands of white ponds that resemble snow. These have been used for thousands of years, long before the Inca Empire, and are still in use today by the local inhabitants. We will finish the tour in the city of Cusco around 3:00 PM.
Day 6: Sacred Valley tour. Overnight in Aguas Calientes
The tour will start around 8:30 AM with a pick-up from your hotel. We will take a bus to Pisac, located about an hour from Cusco, where we will visit the handicraft market, considered the most important in the Sacred Valley; it is located in the main square of this town. We will continue to the archaeological site of Pisac, located on top of a hill, an important fortress where we can admire impressive terraces and other areas such as the Intihuatana (sundial) and Tanqanamarca (the largest pre-Columbian cemetery in South America).
Next, we will head to Urubamba, where we will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch, and then continue the tour, enjoying beautiful views of mountains, green crops, and traditional villages until we reach Ollantaytambo; a living Inca town with perfectly preserved Inca houses despite the passage of time, small cobblestone streets with Inca names, Inca terraces, and an Inca sanctuary.
After visiting Ollantaytambo, the guide will drop us off at the Ollantaytambo train station to board the train to Aguas Calientes.
Day 7: Machu Picchu Tour - Return to Cusco
Early in the morning, we will board the bus to the Machu Picchu citadel. At the archaeological site, we will delve into the enigmatic beauty and incomparable Inca engineering that has made it one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. We will have a 2-hour guided tour accompanied by a professional guide who will explain the history of the site.
After the tour, we will take the bus back to Aguas Calientes. There, you will have time for lunch before we need to take the train back to Ollantaytambo. Upon arrival at the Ollantaytambo station, our tourist transport will be waiting to take us back to the city of Cusco.
Day 8: Rainbow Mountain Tour
We will begin the tour to Rainbow Mountain - Vinicunca with a pick-up from hotels in Cusco between 4:00 and 4:30 AM. We will then board our tourist vehicle and head south of Cusco.
Our journey will take us towards the district of Cusipata, passing through valleys and small lagoons until we reach the town of Paucarpata, where we will stop to enjoy a delicious breakfast.
After breakfast, we will continue our journey to Qomer Qocha, where all vehicles park. From this point, we will start our hike towards the sacred mountain of Vinicunca.
The hike takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour at a moderate pace. Along the way, you will gradually see the changing colors of the mountains surrounding the path until you reach the Rainbow Mountain viewpoint, where you can admire the great Vilcanota mountain range and its wide variety of colors resembling a rainbow, hence also known as "Rainbow Mountain."
After the visit, we will begin our descent back to Qomer Qocha to board the transport returning to Cusco, with a stop at Paucarpata for lunch.
The tour ends in Cusco around 5:00 to 5:30 PM.
Day 9: Southern Valley tour
We will pick you up 30 minutes before the start of the South Valley Tour Cusco from your hotel. We will head southeast of Cusco to explore some of the most impressive sites in the region. The complex of Tipon, an archaeological site, is famous for its 12 terraces of fertile land and its impressive water fountain system, considered a masterpiece of Inca hydraulic engineering. We will then head to the satellite city of the Wari culture, Pikillaqta, known for its harmonious geometric design and historical importance. Finally, we will visit Andahuaylillas, a town that is home to the San Pedro Apóstol Church, known as the "Sixtine Chapel of the Americas" due to the magnificent artworks inside.Join us on this fascinating tour and discover the rich history and culture of Cusco's South Valley
Day 10: Bus Cusco - Puno
Our tour will begin at 6:30 AM when our transport will transfer us from the hotel to the bus station. The bus will take us on a special route called the Route of the Sun until we reach Puno. We will head south of Cusco, first visiting the town of Andahuaylillas, where we will admire its beautiful 17th-century church, which features some of the most surprising and beautiful religious art. Continuing the journey, we will make another stop at the archaeological complex of Raqchi, the temple of the god Wiracocha. We will have our lunch in the city of Sicuani, make a stop at a viewpoint in La Raya where we can take magnificent photos of the snow-capped mountains, and visit the lithic museum of Pukara. Finally, after 9 hours of travel, we will arrive in the city of Puno around 5:00 PM, where we will be greeted and transferred to the reserved hotel.
Day 11: Lake Titicaca Uros and Taquile floating Islands
At 7:30 AM, a new adventure begins as we head to the port to board a boat towards the Floating Islands of Uros, also known as "The People of the Lake." These islands are constructed from totora reeds, with several small islands, each inhabited by a family who welcomes visitors and showcases a marketplace with handicrafts made by themselves.
We will then continue by boat to Taquile Island, where we will see the locals dressed in colorful garments, maintaining their ancestral customs and traditions. The main activities of the islanders are fishing and agriculture, and they are also skilled artisans, creating fine textiles. We will have lunch in this beautiful place. After a brief interaction with the Aymara-speaking inhabitants, we will return to the city of Puno.
Day 12: Flight Juliaca - Lima.
On our last day, we will pick you up from your hotel at the appropriate time and transfer you to the city of Juliaca, located 1 hour from Puno, where we will board the flight to Lima, thus concluding our services.
