Another beautiful cultural adventure in Chachapoyas, where we will discover how ancient inhabitants constructed their buildings deep in the jungle, combined with a visit to the Museum to observe the vestiges found on-site.
On this amazing tour, we will visit the Revash Mausoleums—small houses carved into a rock face, known to have been used as burial sites for famous and prestigious members of ancient cultures. We will also have the opportunity to visit the Leymebamba Museum, where we will see mummies and archaeological materials recovered from the Lake of the Condors in 1977.
Chachapoyas - Revash - Leymebamba
We will begin the tour picking you up from your hotel in Chachapoyas at 08:00 am, departing from Chachapoyas to the archaeological complex of Revash which is made up of pre-Incas chullpas of 3 floors and adorned with paintings.
Then we’ll continue our route until arriving at Leymebamba, beautiful place where is the museum that was constructed with donations and contributions of Austrian citizens. In this museum you can see mummies found in excavations, archaeological pieces as well as a nursery of endemic plants.
After this interesting walk we'll go back to Chachapoyas approximately 18:00 hrs.

Overview:
We will leave Chachapoyas in the direction of Revash where burials were made. It was a pre-Inca cemetery made up of mausoleums. Then we will go to the Leymebamba Museum where we can see vestiges found in the area.
