Viceroyal Lima City Tour

We will start the adventure in the city of the kings picking you up from your hotel in the schedule that you choose for the tour (it can be in the morning or in the afternoon), we will take direction to the district of Miraflores where we will be able to appreciate one of the last vestiges of what was in its time an important ceremonial center. The huaca Pucllana (place to play) we can appreciate its patios and arcades made of adobe among which stands out the great pyramid that measures approximately 25 meters high, this ceremonial center dates from the IV AC belonging to the ancient culture Lima.

Then we will go to the historical center of Lima, during this trip we will be able to appreciate several colonial houses from the beginnings of the republic, pertaining to important personages of the Peruvian history. When arriving at the Plaza Mayor we will visit the imposing cathedral of Lima that is a mixture of several styles among which emphasize the neoclassic and the Renaissance, within it we will be able to appreciate beautiful altarpieces and chapels of different saints and virgins of the Catholic church. We can also appreciate the imposing 18th century choir by Pedro de Noguera that has hundreds of sillerías; a few meters away is the tomb of Francisco Pizarro founder of the city of Lima.

Then we will walk a little by the main square where we will be surrounded by picturesque colonial houses as the one that was the house of Francisco Pizarro current Palace of Government of Peru. We will visit the convent of Santo Domingo, which houses an imposing library, the church and also the chapels dedicated to the Peruvian saints San Martín de Porres and Santa Rosa de Lima.

Our tour will end with a breathtaking view of the Peruvian coastline.
