Another fascinating alternative to get to the marvelous architectonic complex of Machu Picchu, which for many is the main objective of visiting Perú.
In this alternative route we’ll pass through high andean villages, the interesting archeological center of Huchuy Qosqo (small village) that counts with different constructions of rock and clay and possibly it was the last dwelling of the Inca Wiracocha, the Sacred Valley of the incas and its impressive landscapes with abundant typical flora and fauna of Cusco.
We’ll start between 6 and 7 am heading to Tambomachay, from where we’ll begin to walk passing through small villages, lakes, rocky formations and watching beautiful landscapes, until we get to Huchuy Qosqo where we’ll camp.
In this fascinating day we’ll get to know this archeological center, exploring each of the buildings and admiring its perfection, we’ll walk down hill until we get to the town of Lamay, where the transportation we’ll wait for us and will take us to Ollantaytambo. Later on we’ll take a train to Aguas Calientes.
Our last day we’ll visit one of the wonders of the world “Machu Picchu” in a guided visit knowing its complex and interesting buildings and taking the desired photographies. Afterwards we’ll return to the town of Aguas Calientes, next the train to Ollantaytambo and finally a touristic transportation to Cusco.
