Start your day with a unique experience. Between 04:30 and 05:00 hrs, we will pick you up directly from your hotel in our comfortable tourist transport. After a 1.5-hour trip, we will arrive at La Montaña Restaurant, where you can enjoy a delicious buffet breakfast.

Our first stop will be the district of Combapata, where we will explore the historic Checacupe suspension bridge, an impressive construction made by the Quechuas that connected the vast Inca Empire. We will then continue our journey toward the foothills of the imposing Ausangate Mountain. After another hour of travel, we will reach the starting point of our hike.

The starting point is located at 4,800 meters above sea level (15,748 feet). Here, our expert guide will provide all the necessary instructions and give you a trekking pole to ease your hike. The walk to the first viewpoint, located at 4,900 meters (16,076 feet), will take approximately 30 minutes. From this viewpoint, you can admire the dazzling Palccoyo Rainbow Mountain range in all its grandeur.

Along the way, you will see beautiful rock formations, and upon arrival, you will be able to marvel at the spectacular landscapes of this magical place. Take the opportunity to capture incredible photos of the Palccoyo range and explore the fascinating Stone Forest.

After enjoying the Palccoyo Rainbow Mountain, we will return to the starting point of the hike. Our tourist transport will be waiting to take us back to Cusco. On the way back, we will enjoy a delicious lunch. We will arrive in Cusco at approximately 16:30 hrs.
