07:00 AM – Hotel Pick-up and Boarding:

We start the day with a direct pick-up from your hotel in Puno to transfer you to the local lakeside port. At 07:30 AM, we set sail on a comfortable motorboat, beginning a peaceful 30-minute navigation across the beautiful Bay of Puno.

08:00 AM – Visiting the Uros Floating Islands:

We arrive at the artificial archipelago of Uros. Our professional guide will explain the fascinating history, myths, and traditions of this Aymara-speaking community. You will discover the ingenious construction process of the floating islands using dense blocks of totora reed roots (khili) and how they perform daily maintenance. You will have plenty of time for photos and an optional ride on a traditional reed boat.

09:30 AM – Sailing to Taquile Island:

We board our boat once again to head deeper into the lake toward Taquile. During the 2.5-hour trip, you can relax, head to the outdoor deck, and take in the endless blue horizon of Lake Titicaca.

11:00 AM – Cultural Hike and Local Lunch in Taquile:

Upon arrival, we take a gradual 30-minute uphill walk to the village's main square, located at 3,950 m s. n. m. We will visit the local craft center and community museum. Afterward, we will enjoy a traditional lunch at a family home, tasting fresh lake trout and learning about Taquile's world-famous textile art, which is recognized by UNESCO.

02:30 PM – Scenic Descent and Return to Puno:

We conclude our visit by descending the opposite side of the island via an impressive stone staircase featuring colonial arches and sweeping panoramic views. Our boat will be waiting at the dock to take us back to Puno, arriving at the port around 05:00 PM before transferring you back to your hotel.
