Día 2:  Tour Místico y Arqueológico por los Templos Ancestrales de Puno

Embárquese en un fascinante viaje al corazón de la historia y la espiritualidad andina. Este tour le invita a explorar el legado de los señoríos ancestrales y las culturas milenarias que florecieron en la sierra peruana, en una experiencia que lo conectará con los orígenes de la civilización.

Iniciamos con el recojo desde su hotel para dirigirnos hacia uno de los lugares más enigmáticos de la región: el Portal Interdimensional de Aramu Muru. Este sitio místico, rodeado de formaciones rocosas naturales, alberga una monumental puerta tallada en la roca con una hendidura central, considerada un centro de energía ideal para rituales espirituales y de conexión con la naturaleza.

Nuestra siguiente parada será en las Chullpas de Molloco, antiguas torres funerarias pertenecientes a los nobles Lupacas o Aymaras. Estas estructuras circulares y cuadradas, utilizadas como necrópolis, son un impresionante testimonio de la cosmovisión andina sobre la vida y la muerte.

Continuando con nuestra ruta arqueológica, visitaremos los Geoglifos de Thunco, majestuosas formaciones talladas en la tierra que, según investigaciones, habrían servido para proteger los cultivos durante las épocas de heladas, reflejando el avanzado conocimiento agrícola de estas culturas.

La jornada concluye en el encantador pueblo de Chucuito, donde exploraremos el Templo de la Fertilidad – Inca Uyo, un recinto sagrado con múltiples representaciones fálicas al que se atribuyen poderes místicos relacionados con la fertilidad. También visitaremos la Plaza Principal, la Iglesia de la Asunción de estilo renacentista, el Reloj Solar y otros atractivos del lugar.

En Chucuito dispondremos de tiempo libre para disfrutar del almuerzo y recorrer sus calles con calma, antes de regresar a la ciudad de Puno.

A brief introduction will be given on the importance of guinea pig farming and its role in local nutrition. You’ll also have the chance to enter the farm and observe the guinea pigs up close in their environment. Aspects such as cage arrangement, feeding, and behavior will be explained, and questions about the animals’ interactions will be answered. This visit not only provides practical knowledge about raising guinea pigs but also raises awareness about the importance of diversifying food sources in the Ccorccor community.

The visit to the textile center of the Ccorccor community is a fascinating experience that allows visitors to immerse themselves in the rich local textile tradition and understand the artisanal production process. Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed by community members who work in the workshop. A brief introduction to the community’s textile history and the cultural significance of this activity will be provided. You’ll have the opportunity to observe artisans working on looms. The weaving process, from fiber selection to the creation of intricate designs, will be explained. The weavers may share personal anecdotes and answer questions. The importance of preserving textile traditions and how sustainable tourism can contribute to the continuity of these artisanal practices will also be highlighted.

A visit to a community textile center offers a unique educational and cultural experience, allowing visitors to appreciate local craftsmanship and understand the cultural value transmitted through textile creations.

After these incredible activities, we’ll enjoy a delicious buffet-style lunch featuring typical regional ingredients.

Following this unforgettable experience, we’ll return to the city of Cusco.
