Day 1: Reception at the airport, accommodation in the hostel and City Tour

Upon arrival at the airport in Cusco we will pick you up and take you to your accommodation - we recommend you arrive early in the morning since our tours will start this day. At around 13:00 we will be picking you up from the hostel in order to start our City Tour visiting the main attractions of Cusco such as Coricancha (temple of the sun), the fortress of Sacsayhuaman with its imposing walls, Qenko, Puca Pucara and finally Tambomachay. We will be back in Cusco at 6:30 p.m. approximately.

Day 2: Full day tour to Machu Picchu

Pick-up from the hostel will be at 3:30am.  In our tourist transportation we will go ahead to Ollantaytambo. 6:10 am here we will board the train that will take us to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu town). As soon as we arrive, there will be someone waiting for us in order to take us to the bus station to go up to Machu Picchu by bus. Up in Machu Picchu we will meet our guide who will walk helping us with the interpretation of this wonderful citadel (2 hour guided visited).  Afterwards you will have time to take the best photos and explore a bit more by yourself. Later and depending of the train tickets, we will need to go back to Aguas Calientes, board the train to Ollantaytambo and then take the bus back to Cusco city.

Day 3: Visiting the Rainbow Mountain Full day

4:00am we will be picking you up from your hostel then we will go to the southern part of Cusco (3 hours’ drive) until we arrive to Pitumarca where will enjoy our breakfast, then will continue to Pampachiri where begins our ascent trek of about 3 hours till we reach to Vinicunca mountain known as Rainbow Mountain, in the way we will see spectacular landscapes and ancestral communities. Upon arrival we will contemplate the colorful mountain and the imposing surrounding mountain ranges. We will return by the same way making a stop for lunch and we will take the bus to Cusco. Night in Cusco.

Day 4: Transfer to the airport

According to your flight schedule, we will transfer you to the airport, and it will be our last service.

Day 2: Sacred Valley of the Incas and night in Machu Picchu

We’ll pick you up from your hostel in Cusco at 8:30am to start the excursion to the Sacred Valley, we will take our transport to Pisaq where we will visit the archaeological complex and its artisan market, which is considered one of the most important in Cusco. Then in our transport we will go to Urubamba where we will have our lunch (not included). Later we will go to Ollantaytambo to visit its archaeological complex and we will stay there to board the train that will take us to Machu Picchu town (Aguas Calientes). Here we will spend the night. (At the train station you will be picked up from a staff of our lodging, and later you will be visited by the guide who will explain the visit of Machu Picchu the following day).

Day 3: Tour to Machu Picchu

Early in the morning after breakfast in the hostel, we will board the bus to the archaeological complex of Machu Picchu, there we will have a guided tour that will last approximately 2 hours, then we will have free time to explore the place, and go down to Aguas Calientes for lunch on our own. Later we will take the train back to Ollantaytambo depending on our train schedule. Here our transportation will be waiting to take us back to Cusco.

Day 2: Tour to Maras and Moray

We will start at 8:20 in the morning, we will pick you up from your hostel and take you to the fascinating archaeological sites of Maras and Moray. The salt pond of Maras is a set of pools with salt water stagnated from where salt is obtained, a local family owns each pool. Moray, are circular shaped platforms, it is believed that have been used as an agricultural laboratory by the Incas to experiment new crops. We will finish the tour at approximately 3pm and you will have the afternoon free to rest.
