What we recommend bringing

  • Comfortable and light clothing: Wear fresh and light clothing, ideal for the warm climate of the Lurin Valley, as well as comfortable walking shoes. In the afternoons it can get a little cooler.
  • Sun protection and mosquito repellent: Do not forget to bring sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat or cap to protect yourself from the sun. Also consider a mosquito repellent if you are sensitive to mosquito bites.
  • Hydration Bring a bottle of water to keep you hydrated during the tour.
  • You may find souvenirs or handicrafts that you can purchase along the route.
  • Food Bring snacks or a refreshment for the trip.

Other trip recommendations

  • Respect for the archaeological site: Remember that Pachacamac is a sacred place with a deep historical and cultural value. Avoid touching structures or leaving the marked paths.
  • Respect guide direccions Make the most of the guide's explanations to understand the importance of each temple and construction. Do not get separated from the group, you could get lost.
  • Respect for the Peruvian Paso horses: Although they are docile and beautiful animals, keep your distance and follow the instructions of the staff to ensure your safety and that of the horses. If you decide to take pictures of the horses, do not use flash to avoid scaring the animals.
