We’ll pick you up from your hotel between 7:50am and 8:30am. Then we’ll head in bus to Pisaq Archeological Site (that it will take about an hour to arrive from the city of Cusco), located in the top of the highest mountain of the same name. Here we’ll have a guided visit for 2 hours approximately and in the town we’ll visit its craft market. Afterwards, we’ll continue on to the city of Urubamba, passing through traditional towns in the way such as Coya, Lamay, and Calca along the scenic route.
We’ll arrive Urubamba at about noon, and there’ll be a stop for lunch. Our next stop will be the town of Ollantaytambo, which is often referred to as a ‘living Inca town’ because it still conserves its original layout. We’ll tour the archeological site of the same name which overlooks the town at approximately 4pm.
After this, we’ll head to the town of Chincheros, place that stands out for its platforms that were used as an agricultural area in the Inca period. We will also visit a center of artisans, who will explain us very singularly the process of weaving, how they wash and dye wool.
Finally we’ll return to Cusco, where we’ll arrive at 7pm approximately.
