We’ll pick up from hotel between 7:00 to 7:30 a.m. to start our tour visiting the archaeological site of Pisac. Here our guide will explain about this ancient construction that possibly was an administrative and agricultural place because it has water fountains, temples and Inca terraces. Afterwards we’ll visit the town with the same name where we can see the famous market that opens on tuesdays, thursdays and sundays in the central plaza.
We continue our journey towards the Inkariy Museum, that was built with the purpose of giving more in-depth knowledge the surprising history of Peru, since the show representations in mock-ups and natural size mannequins of the diverse cultures that pass through this country as it not only includes the Inca splendor but also includes pre-Inca cultures as Caral, Chavin, Paracas, Nazca, Mochica, Lambayeque and Chimu, that are exposed in a chronological tour in the museum. We are going to Urubamba where we will enjoy a delicious lunch.
Then we’ll head in the transportation to Ollantaytambo, where we can admire its archeological site with incredible architecture and its town of the same name that stands out for its small streets of stones. This is the only inca building that keeps being inhabit that remains intact buildings like the terraces, temples, the main sources of water despite the years.
