At 9am you’ll be picked up from your hotel and we’ll depart for the Urubamba River in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, north of Cusco. Upon arrival, our guide will give us safety instructions and show us how to use the equipment. We’ll navigate the river rapids for close to two and a half hours, passing through class III and IV rapids, depending on the season. You can expect class III rapids during the May to November dry season, while they become class III, IV, V and V+ during the December to April rainy season. The amount of rain, and subsequent river levels, will vary from year to year, so you’ll need to consult during the rainy season to confirm the rapid levels.
In the afternoon we’ll enjoy our lunch together and then head back to Cusco, where we’ll arrive around 5pm.
