We’ll begin the tour after picking you up at your hotel in Cusco, between 8:30 an 9:00am. We’ll board our transportation and we’ll head to the town of Cruzpata. It will take us about 40 minutes to reach.
There, we’ll spend 10 to 15 minutes practicing with the quads. Soon we’ll be ready to start our adventure, first we’ll visit the archeological site of Moray with its experimental terraces in circular form, that the incas used to create different types of microclimates and adapt plantations of new products, as different segments are configured to simulate conditions at different altitude levels.
From there, we’ll continue our scenic route, heading to Maras salt pans. Along the way, we’ll have great views of the snowy peaks of Mt Verónica and Mt Chichón. When we reach the salt mines located on the slopes of a mountain, we will appreciate the wonderful nature, hundreds of small pools crossed by streams that feeds them with salt water and where the people harvest the salt.
At the end of our circuit we’ll return to Cruzpata in our ATV, where our transport will be waiting to take us back to the city of Cusco.
