Day 1: Reception and accommodation in Lima hotel

On the day of your arrival in Peru, we will be waiting for you at the Lima airport to take you to the hotel or hostel that we have booked. This day a representative of the agency will approach the hotel to explain the details of the itinerary and to give you the necessary documentation for the program.

Day 02: Tour Sanctuary of Pachacamac

We will pick you up around 9:30 am in your hotel, in our touristic transportation we will head south to Lima, to the citadel of Pachacamac, a very important archaeological center of the Peruvian coast, which was built to worship the God of Pachacamac; Creator of the Universe.

This monument has pyramids, a temple of the Sun, a temple of the Moon, a painted temple, a square, among others. We can reach the highest point that is the Temple of the Sun and is located closer to the sea from where we will have spectacular views of the Lurín Valley and the Pacific Ocean.

The tour also includes a visit to the traditional district of Barranco, where we’ll cross the popular bridge of the sighs, a place that was preferred by composers and writers as they found inspiration for their compositions, nowadays it is a favorite place of couples Of lovers. According to tradition, anyone who sees this bridge for the first time and crosses it without breathing his/her dreams will become true.

We will end the tour around 1:30 in the afternoon, and you will have the rest of the afternoon free.

Day 3: Flight Lima - Cusco and city tour

Very early we will pick you up at your hotel to take you to Lima airport and take the flight to Cusco, at your arrival in the city of Cusco a representative of our agency will be waiting to take you to the hotel, you can settle in and rest in the morning .

1:30 pm approximately, we will pick you up from the hostel to start the tour that will take us to know the imperial city of Cusco. We will begin by visiting the Cathedral, one of the most beautiful temples in South America, which was the palace of the Inca Wiracocha. We will continue with the temple of the sun (Coricancha) located just minutes from the Cathedral.

Then we will go to the fortress of Sacsayhuaman; Inca construction that until now is a mystery due to its huge stones. Then we will visit Qenqo, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay; Other Inca archaeological complexes that were very important in the past and demonstrate the great Inca intelligence.

We will finish the tour in Cusco around 6:00pm.

Day 4: Sacred Valley with connection to Machu Picchu

8:20 approximately after picking you up from the hotel we will go to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, before arriving at the first place, we will stop at a viewpoint from where we will have spectacular views of the whole sacred valley and the Vilcanota river, continuing with The route will reach the town of Pisac, in this village we will visit its artisanal market which is one of the best known for its alpaca textiles, then we will ascend to its archaeological center located at the top of the mountain, we will see Qantuaguay, the Intihuatana ( Solar clock) and the Tanqanamarca (pre-Columbian cemetery).

At the end of this visit, we will continue the transportation, taking in fascinating landscapes to Urubamba, where we will enjoy our lunch, later we will continue to Ollantaytambo, this is the only Inca city that is still inhabited, its cobbled streets still have Inca names and the houses are well preserved, You will also appreciate Inca platforms and pink granite monoliths.

We will stay in this town to board the train that will take us to Machu Picchu village (Aguas Calientes) place where we will spend our fourth night.

Day 5: Machu Picchu and return to Cusco

During this day we will visit the wonderful citadel of Machu Picchu, we will leave very early from the hotel to head for the bus that will take us to this great archaeological complex, along with our guide we will have a tour of 2 hours approximately, then we will have a free time to explore on our own and take many photos, or you can use it to climb the Huaynapicchu Mountain (this must be requested at the time of booking as it has additional cost and must be booked in advance)

At the appropriate time, we will return to the town to have lunch and board the train back to Ollantaytambo, where a transfer to Cusco awaits us, arriving in the city around 10:00 pm.

Day 6: Cusco - Puno (Sun's Route)

6:30 in the morning in our transportation we will go from the hotel to the bus station, which will take us on a special route called the route of the sun until reaching Puno. We will head to the south of Cusco first visiting the town of Andahuaylillas, where we will appreciate its beautiful church of the seventeenth century, which has one of the most surprising and beautiful pieces of religious art. Continuing with the trip we will make another stop at the archaeological complex of Raqchi; Temple of the God Wiracocha. We will have our lunch in the city of Sicuani, we will stop at a viewpoint in the Raya, where we can take magnificent pictures of snowfall and visit the lithic museum of Pukara. Finally after 9 hours of travel, we will arrive to the city of Puno around 5:00 pm, reception and transfer to the hotel booked.

Day 7: Uros & Taquile Islands, full day

7:30 in the morning begins our fascinating excursion in the Lake Titicaca, first we will visit the floating islands of the Uros, these islands are constructed of totora, in each island lives a family, who make crafts and fabrics to put them on sale, there is the option to take a ride on a totora boat(for an additional cost).

We will continue to Taquile Island, here the people will warmly welcome us. They keep alive their traditions and customs, they dress in colorful costumes, although tourism is always present, they have not changed a little their traditions, they still engaged in agriculture, fishing and textiles. To get to this island we will have to climb many stone steps which could be exhausting, but is worth it due to the great views of Inca terraces, Lake Titicaca and the opportunity to share with the islanders. Lunch will be on the Island.

At the end of the visit, we will take you back to your hotel in Puno.

Day 8: Transfer Puno - Juliaca and flight to Lima.

In the morning at the appropriate time we will pick you up at the hotel in Puno, to transfer you to the airport in Juliaca, where we will take the return flight to Lima, ending our services.
