Patococha Lagoon - Pumapashimi Lake - Pastoruri
We start the tour picking you up from your hotel in Huaraz at 8:30 in the morning, and at 9:00 am we will be leaving in our transportation heading south of the city of Huaraz. We will have snowy mountains views from the Carpa sector and our first stop will be the Patococha Lagoon, where we will be able to see wild ducks and the aerated waters that come from the filtration of the ground.
Later we will arrive at Lake Pumapashimi or Lake of the 7 colors, named for the visual effect that is generated by its algae and solar rays, in addition we will see a forest of Puyas Raimondi, a plant from the Ande, and a great amount of birds of the place and some other migratory birds.
Finally we will arrive at the place where we begin our 40-minute walk, there is also the option of horse riding to get up to the top of the mountain where we will enjoy the snowy Pastoruri and its spectacular views.
