In the morning around 8:30 am, after picking you up in your hotel in Cusco, we will transfer by tourist transport for 40 minutes until we reach the small town of Cruzpata; place where we will begin to mount our bicycles. We will pass by the lagoon of Huaypo which has many fishes and birds, until we arrive at the archaeological complex of Moray, where we will have a guided tour to know this famous Inca site that was used as an agricultural laboratory.
We will continue on our bikes until we reach the village of Maras, where we will enjoy a short break and take our refreshment. Following our trip we will have a fast and exciting bike downhill, to reach the mines of Sal de Maras.
Upon arrival we will be surprised by the great white image of thousands of salt pits on the slopes of a mountain as we enjoy beautiful landscapes with snowy peaks, mountains and crop fields of the Sacred Valley. Our guide will give us a tour explaining the history of these mines that are thousands of years old, and which today are managed by the same people of Maras.
Then we will arrive at the Pichingoto bridge, where we will take private transportation that will take us to the bus terminal of Urubamba. Here we will take a bus to the city of Cusco, arriving at approximately 6:00 pm.
