The Manu National Park is one of the most biodiverse areas on the planet. It is located in the departments of Cusco and Madre de Dios. It is an amazing place for all travelers who visit it.
Manu owns one of the most recognized research centers in the Amazon: Cocha Cashu biological station, as well as an interpretation center at the Limonal monitoring post.
It has about 221 species of mammals. Much of the park is indigenous territory, there are 30 peasant communities and there are also some indigenous peoples in voluntary isolation.
