Participatory Tourism in Ccorcor and Huchuy Qosqo Trek

We begin this incredible cultural immersion experience by departing from Cusco at 5:00 AM, heading towards the district of Chinchero, Ccorcor, where we will arrive around 6:00 AM. We will enjoy a delicious Andean breakfast. Afterwards, the locals will provide us with traditional community clothing and give us a warm welcome with music and traditional dances. We will then head to the fields to participate in daily activities such as agriculture and livestock management using ancestral techniques. At noon, we will have a typical and nutritious lunch with the family members. In the afternoon, we can either rest or take a walk around the area. As evening falls, we will gather around a magnificent bonfire where the locals will share Andean stories, legends, and traditional tales before enjoying a delicious family dinner.

Early in the morning, we will have a delicious breakfast before embarking on a 3-hour hike to the Huchuy Qosqo archaeological site. Upon arriving at this significant archaeological complex, we will make an offering to Pachamama. Our guide will provide an explanation of the site, and we will have time to soak in the magic of the place and rest. Upon returning to the Ccorcor community, a delicious traditional lunch will await us. In the afternoon, we will say goodbye to our hosts and return to the city of Cusco.
