In the morning we’ll take you in our transportation from your hotel in Cusco to the train station of Ollantaytambo (1:30 hours), where we’ll board the train to Machu Picchu town of Aguas Calientes that takes an approximate of 2 hours. In the road we can watch the spectacular natural beauty and abundant vegetation in the zone of the journey. When we get to the welcoming town we’ll go to our reserved accommodation and you’ll have the evening free to explore the surroundings by yourself or to visit the hot springs of this place.
(The departing time depends on the availability of train tickets, and because of this the time of picking up can be modify)
Very early we’ll take the bus from the town of Aguas Calientes to the archeological site of Machu Picchu. In the Inca place of Machu Picchu we’ll appreciate its enigmatic beauty, incomparable architecture and the hydraulic engineering. The guide will give us a guided visit of 2 hours around the site, he’ll explain us the meaning of each area and the historic legacy of the impressive citadel. Afterwards, you’ll have time to explore independently and take photographs.
