The Misti is the main volcano of the white city, Arequipa, is located at the National Reserve of Salinas and Aguada Blanca. Come enjoy an amazing experience of trekking in the mysterious volcano of the White City, the Misti.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1:

We depart from Arequipa at 8:30 a.m in a 4x4 vant. We arrive at the north base of Misti, over the 3800 m.o.s.l. from there we will begin the trekking, we will have a short stop for lunch and after we walk again to the base camp (4800 m.o.s.l), after of a 6 hours trekking we have dinner and overnight. (Mont. Blanco Camping)

Day 2:

We get up very early around 1.00 a.m, approximately 6.00 a.m we have breakfast, and then we begin the climbing for 4 hours, then we descend to the 5600 m.o.s.l, and then we have the strongest climbing until 5825 m.o.s.l.

we will enjoy an amazing view of the huge crater and other one which expels some gases, later trekking until Cruz del Misti, here we enjoy un spectacular view of Arequipa and the snowed mountains Chachani, Pichu Pichu, Coropuna and Ampato, after 30 minutes, we begin the descend until the camping base, a little rest, and finally our bus is waiting for us to return to Arequipa approximately at 16.00 p.m.
