This tour is one with a magical presence set by Cordillera Vilcanota, which boasts the highest snow caps in Cusco, and Apu Ausangate (6384 m), which protects the Peruvian Andes.

During the tour you can find animals such as llamas, alpaca and vicuna, and see the most unforgettable views. This tour is not one to be missed, not only for the sights of the Peruvian mountains, but also for the feeling of being so close with nature.

Itinerario

day 01 : cusco - urcos - tinki

You will be picked up from your hostel at 0900hrs in our tourist transportation, heading southeast of Cusco, to start the great Ausangate adventure! The travel route is one of picturesque villages that still retain ancient customs that enrich the Inca culture. During the journey you will stop for lunch and continue on to the village of Ti'nki (3850m) where you will camp and stay the night after a delicious dinner.

day 02 : ti’nki - upis

After an early breakfast, you will begin the trek, one in which you will be surrounded by lush scenery, fresh air and a silence that will allow harmony with nature. At noon you will arrive at Upis (4400m) where you will enjoy lunch and can optionally enter the relaxing thermal baths. You will return to camp for dinner and stay again overnight.

day 03 : upis - arap step - step ausangate extreme - laguna ausangateqocha

Very early and after breakfast, you will depart for a long but pleasant walk to Arapa (4800 m) where you will have a spectacular view of the mountains surrounding Yana Cocha (4500 m). You will have lunch here surrounded by the overwhelming views, and after a short rest you will ascend towards the highest point of the route to Paso Extremo Ausangate (4850 m) from where you feel like you can touch the sky.

You will also have a view so beautiful that you’ll know it can only be offered by the Andes. After this, you will descend to Laguna Ausangate (46,500 m) where you will set up camp, enjoy a relaxing dinner and spend the night.

day 04 : laguna ausangate - step palomani - jampa

After an early breakfast, you will embark on a trek full of adventure up to the amazingly high point of Paso Palomani (5200 m) where the views will absolutely take your breath away. Feeling awe inspired and probably a little cold, you will descend a little to a valley where you will have lunch, and after which you will re-ascend to our camp at a place called Jampa (4700m), tired but happy, you will have dinner then spend the night.

day 05 : jampa - step campa - pacchanta - ti'nki

After a very early breakfast, you will embark on a moderate 4 to 5 hour trek to Camp Pass (5100 m), where you will enjoy a delicious lunch and after a short break continue to walk to the thermo-medicinal baths of Pacchanta (4350m) where you can have a relaxing bath before continuing on to the community of Ti'nki (3850 m),where you will have dinner and camp for the last night.

day 06 : ti'nki - cusco

You will have an early breakfast and then take the bus back to Cusco, on the way you will get to see cultivated fields and small rustic houses with thatched roofs. During the trip you will stop for lunch in a restaurant and continue until you return to Cusco, where you will be dropped off at your accommodation.
