Always thinking in what is best for our clients we would like to give you some recommendations before you come to Perú:

transport

Take only reliable company taxis or asking for them directly to the hostel in order to avoid robberies or other kind of problems. It would be safer for you to avoid taking any taxi at the airport without a previous reservation, since lately there have been several cases of robberies and attacks outside the airport by criminals so-called taxi drivers.

We work with a taxi cab company which offers a reliable and safe service (previous reservation), this service costs $15.00 ($7.50 per passenger/ for more than 3 passengers it costs $5.00 each one). Although you should consider this service takes more time to arrive to its destination.

language

If you are not so good with Spanish, best thing for you would be to carry on a dictionary or some kind of Spanish most common phrases book.

food

Here in Lima are many places where you can eat all you would like to, we have a big variety of kinds of food, since typical food of all countries to fast food.

money and payments

Payments can be done cash or with credit card in the hostel You can get money from all of our banks or make money orders in the same place.

weather and trips

Weather in the different parts of Perú is totally different, we suggest to ask about it before going on your trip.
