This is an unforgettable experience during which you can see many diverse landscapes which intensify the Andean feeling, which leads over ladders, through tunnels and over wooden bridges, which cross rivers, through moderate valleys, the warm cloud forest and the freezing Andean altitude and then you will meet the incredible Machu Picchu.

Tour Itinerary

FIRST DAY

We will pick you up at your hotel between 06:00 and 06:30 a.m. with our touristic bus. Then we will board a train, which will take us to the km 104, which takes approximately 3, 45 hours. We will start our walk to reach the first archeological group of CHACHABAMBA, where we will have a guided tour. During the walk you can observe the flora and fauna of the zone and as well appreciate the mountain of the great MACHUPICCHU in the distance and the archeological group of CHOQUESUYSUY. 3 hours later we will reach the archaeological park of WIÑAYWYNA, where we will make a short tour and than continue our walk to INTIPUNKU. From there we will have a panoramic view of MACHUPICCHU, can enjoy the beautiful night time and will continue to the citadel of MACHUPICCHU. Today we will not visit the archaeological group. After a 1 hour walk we will reach the Aguas Calientes town, where our invigorating dinner will wait for us in a restaurant. We will stay over night in a comfortable and clean hostel.

SECOND DAY

At the following day, we will have an early breakfast in the hostel. We will start with our walk, which will lead us to one out of 7 great, MACHUPICCHU. Upon arrival we will visit the citadel and make an approximately 2 hour guided tour. Later you will have some free time to explore this place. In the afternoon we will return to Aguas Calientes to take a train back to Ollantaytambo, at the time indicated on your ticket. There will be waiting a touristic bus to bring you back to Cusco.
