Immersed in the jungle with a gorgeous temperature of 28 ° C, you will visit the last refuge of the Incas, the archaeological site of Choquequirao, where there are agricultural terraces and a ceremonial center area, among many other monuments.
Tour Itinerary
Day 01: Cusco - Cachora - Rosalina - Santa Rosa You will depart from Cusco at 05:00 hrs in a tourist bus and ride for approximately 4 hours to get to Cachora. Once there you will take a tour of the archaeological site of Tarawasi and Saywite pass. After which, you will reach Cachora (2900m) where you will meet the muleteers, begin to walk up Capuliyoc and after 3 hours to get to La Playa Rosalina (1510m). Here you will enjoy a delicious lunch and after a brief climb upwards, arrive to the camp in Santa Rosa where you will enjoy a delicious dinner and spend the night.
Day 02: Santa Rosa - Choquequirao Early in the morning, after breakfast, you will continue to climb a moderate slope reaching Marampata where you will enjoy lunch and after a short break continue walking until you reach the archaeological site of Choquequirao (3030m). Here you will enjoy a delicious dinner and camp for the night.
Day 03: Choquequirao - Chiquisca After a very early breakfast, you will embark on a short climb up to and will have a tour of Choquequirao. You will also discover enigmatic Inca buildings surrounded by the scenic beauty and warm atmosphere of the rest of the site. After visiting the site, you will have lunch and continue walking until you return to Chiquisca (1950m) where you will enjoy dinner and camp for the night.
Day 04: Chiquisca - Cachora - Cusco You will enjoy breakfast early so that you can fit in a 6 hour trek of Cachora and have the option to enter the thermo-medicinal waters of Qonoc. After enjoying the beautiful landscapes, you will be picked up and return to Cusco in the evening.
