During this journey we will enjoy lots of adventure and adrenaline; great landscapes of the mountain range of Vilcanota and tropical forests. The tour is a mix of descending in bicycle from el Abra de Málaga to the village of Pispitayoc with a trek by the route that will takes us to the town of Machu Picchu, to arrive afterwards to the wonderful Inca citadel of Machu Picchu.

Itinerary of Inca Jungle biking to Machu Picchu

Day 1: Cusco – Ollantaytambo - Malaga Pass - Pispitayoc

Coming from Cusco we’ll pass through the beautiful Sacred Valley of the Incas until Abra Málaga, where the journey in bicycle begins downhill until we get to a tropical valley. The views are awesome for its landscapes, the typical towns and the changes in the vegetation in the valley and the mountains.

Day 2: Hike to Santa Teresa

Very early we start our trek by some scenic trails. In the route we can appreciate fruit and cereals plantations and with a bit of luck some animals until we get to the town of Qellomayo where we’ll have lunch, we’ll continue to the thermal baths of Santa Teresa and later on to the town of Santa Teresa.

Day 3: Santa Teresa - Hidroeléctrica - Machu Picchu town

This is another hiking day, we'll walk to Hidroelectrica, place where we'll lunch and kepp trekking to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu pueblo) where we'll stay that night.

Day 4: Guided visit of Machu Picchu – Return to Cusco

The day starts with a guided visit of Machu Picchu Citadel, followed with free time in Aguas Calientes, a train to Ollantaytambo in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, and transport back to Cusco.
