We will pick you up from your hotel in Iquitos or at the airport. We will start the adventure with a walking city tour (this depends on the time of your arrival), then we will go to the pier to board our private boat to our lodge. Sailing along the Amazon River, in route, we will visit some floating houses (from November to July), and observe several rural villages with their traditional houses.
Upon arrival at the lodge, we will be welcomed with a typical drink and we will settle in the private cabins, after a rest we will make a walk through the primary forest to know the variety of flora and fauna of the area; We will taste a delicious lunch. Later we will board our boat to explore the Amazon river in search of pink and gray dolphins; We will visit a river family, who guard some animals, such as sloths, turtles, anacondas, etc., there we will taste a typical aphrodisiac and medicinal drink.
Returning to the Lodge and depending on the weather, we can observe the sunset on the Amazon River. We will do a nocturnal walk to see insects, batracios, among others; And finally we will dine while we listen to legends and myths of the zone.
We will start the day with a lovely morning walk, where we will observe birds in their natural habitat, such as the legendary hoatzin and return to our lodge to enjoy our breakfast. Our next activity will be to visit a native community called Yagua, its people will show us their customs, beliefs, typical clothing made of palm leaves, their dialect, and their way of life. We will have demonstrations of the unique method of hunting small animals with blowgun, and if you wish you can participate.
We will return to our lodge to enjoy our lunch, to pack, and it will be time to return to the city of Iquitos, arriving around 3:00 pm, we will finally take you to your hotel or to the airport.
