Itinerario

day 01 : puerto maldonado - monkey island

The tour meets at the airport of Puerto Maldonado ‘Capital of Biodiversity of Peru’, where you will be toured around the city and visit the markets. You will then be transfered to the port where a boat will be waiting to take you to Ecoamazonia Lodge, where you will be greeted with an exquisite welcome drink and can enjoy lunch.

In the afternoon, accompanied by a professional guide, you will visit the Monkey Island, where you can see extraordinary landscapes with lush vegetation, and which also houses within it a variety of species of monkeys in their natural habitat, such as Spider monkey, Capuchin monkeys, Martin, Little Lion, and Frailes and other species like the coati, bear sloths, and a great variety of birds. At the end fo the expedition, you can enjoy the most impressive sunset of the jungle and then return to the lodge to enjoy dinner and a good nights sleep.

day 02 : tambopata river - collpa de guacamayos

After an early breakfast, you will embark on a day-long boat trip with lunch on board up to Collpa de Guacamayos. On the way down the river Tambopata, you will be able to see animals like caimans, turtles and a variety of birds. You will arrive at Collpa where you will camp and enjoy the delicious dinner.

day 03 : collpa de guacamayos

You’ll wake up early in order to get the chance to see parrots, parakeets and macaws, and have the opportunity to watch the dazzling sunrise. After which, you’ll return to the camp where you can enjoy a delicious breakfast. After breakfast, you will board our boat and travel down the river to reach the hostel Ecoamazonia, having lunch along the way and arriving at the Lodge where you’ll enjoy a delicious dinner and a comfy night’s sleep.

day 04 : cocha perdida

After breakfast, you’ll embark upon another adventure in the jungle along trails leading to La Qocha Perdida; shelter and feeding place for many animals such as lizards, black river turtles, giant otters, and a variety of birds. Here you can also climb the special Mirador Amazonas, built in the largest Shihuahuaco tree, where you will have an impressive panoramic view of the ecosystem. Then you will sail in a canoe to return to the lodge for lunch. You’ll get the rest of the afternoon off and will have another delicious dinner in the evening.

day 05 : transfer to airport puerto maldonado

After breakfast, you will be picked up and taken to the airport in Puerto Maldonado.
