Tour Itinerary

Our excursion begins with the pickup of the passengers at their accommodations at 09:00 am. Our first stop will be the archaeological center of Tipon, where we will learn more about the hydraulic works, such as the fountain and its wonderful channels, about the system of distribution of the water to every dam. After a guided tour, our trip leads us to Pikillacta, a site which offers us a combination of landscape, history and above all the urban organization. It demonstrates how the surrounding area used to be. Our final destination will be Andahuaylillas, also known as “The Sistine Chapel of America”, where you can find a fabulous collection of Cuzqueña Paintings as well as mural paintings dated to the 16th and 17th century. Within this temple you can appreciate the famous door with inscriptions in five languages, which was completely covered in gold.
