Campiñas Arequipa

The program begins with the pickup from the hotel at the organized time. We will head towards the plaza, the church and the Viewpoint of Yanahuara, from where we will have a great view of the city, its majestic volcanoes and of its countryside. Along the way we will appreciate beautiful landscapes until arriving at the Viewpoint of Chilina. Later we continue until the stately Mill of Sabandia. From there we will go to the old and traditional district of Paucarpata, where we will appreciate a beautiful set of Inca and pre-Inca terraces. We will also visit its Plaza. Then we will continue along the route till we arrive at the house of the founder, a stately large house of the XVI century. Tingo a typical tree-lined avenue where there are places to sell anticuchos and doughnuts, among others, that are a treat for the visitor, is our next stop. We continue until the Viewpoint and Plaza of Sachaca, a viewpoint with modern constructions from where we will appreciate a matchless view of the Arequipa countryside and by all means of the three impressive volcanoes, which reign the city.

In order to finish with this interesting excursion we will head to the Bridge of Iron or Bridge Bolivar, it was designed by the French engineer Gustavo Eiffel, famous for the Eiffel Tower in Paris. The bridge was constructed in 1882, journeying by the railroad to Cusco, being the longest in the world until 1889.
