Itinerary :
The tour starts at the impressive Colonial Cathedral in Cusco that contains over 400 paintings from the Cusquenan School, several altars. After that we go to visit the Temple of the Sun, main religious center of the Incas dedicated to the Sun Cult. According to the chroniclers, the walls of this temple were entirely covered with gold.
You will be collected at 13:45 hrs from your accommodation. Your first stop will be the Temple of Koricancha Cathedral in the centre of Cusco, continuing on to the archaeological sites of: Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Puca Pucará and Tambomachay. These magnificent buildings were of major importance in the time of the Incas.
This trip is for approximately 5 hours, concluding the tour with transfer to your hotel.
