Chachani Volcano 2 Days

Highlights

The adventure begins in the white city, Arequipa, the goal is to climb until the top of Chachani Volcano at 6075 m.o.s.l., from this point it is possible to appreciate the Misti, the Pichu Pichu and other volcanoes and mountains from the Peruvian Andes.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1:

Pick up from the hotel at 8.30 a.m. we take the bus until our camping base at 4 200 m.a.s.l. We have lunch and later we walk for a while to verify our physical conditions at 5000 m.o.s.l., then we have dinner and overnight.

Day 2:

Very early in the morning , after breakfast we begin to ascend until the top of Chachani Volcano (6075 m.o.s.l), after 2 hours we begin to descend to our camping base where we will have lunch, finally we take our bus to Arequipa.
