Trekking Arequipa

You will be picked you up at your hotels at the indicated time (04:00 a.m.) and take our touristic bus. Then you will head to the cross of the condor, where you can observe the depth of the canyon and the majestic flights of the condors. You will have a packed lunch for breakfast. Then we will continue our journey to the village of Cabanoconde. Here we will have lunch. We will start our downhill walk through the deepest canyon of the world till we reach the village Llahuar. Along the way you can observe the geysers of the Colca Valley. Here in Llahuar we can fish trout for dinner and we can also enjoy the thermal baths. We will stay here for the night.

After breakfast we will start our 3 hour walk and along the way we will visit different villages such as Malata (museums place) and Cosñirhua, where we will share experiences and histories with the local people. We will arrive at 12:00 p.m. at the oasis to be able to enjoy the public baths and the huge quantity of nature. Then we will relax at the bungalows for the night.

We will have breakfast and then start with our walk to the village of Sangalle, which is also known as an oasis, because it is similar to a small oasis and has a tropical climate. At this place we can enjoy the public bath and also walk down to the Colca River. We will have lunch and then, at the indicated time of the guide, continue with our ascent till we reach Cabanaconde. There we will have dinner and stay for the night.

At 06:00 a.m. we will have breakfast and then board our touristic vehicle, which will bring us to the village Chivay. Along the way we will stop at different villages and natural attractions (Choquetico and Antahuilque). Upon arrival at Chivay we will have lunch and then use the thermal bathes and return to Arequipa, where we will arrive at 05:00 p.m.
